Solid Chocolate Bunny

Fancy card folds are fun and this one is no exception.  Our 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Whisper White Card Stock is transformed to a fun little Pop-Up Corner Card Easter Bunny card with a few folds and snips.  We owe the basic idea for this fold to SU! Demonstrator Meg Loven at Loven Stamps.  Check out her web page and video with instructions.  We followed her directions, then made a little tweek by cutting the inside corner on an angle--just because.

Solid Chocolate Easter Basket Bunch Card

Card Inside
Our card front design is created on a 4" x 4" piece of Whisper White Card Stock that is adhered to the front cover of the card.  We used designs from our In-Color '16-'18 Designer Series Paper Stack.  The front panels on the front are made from a 4" x 2 1/2" piece of the DSP.  Our small strip is 1 1/2" wide.  Whatever size strikes your fancy works!  The cute little Crumb Cake water colored bunny in the grass from Basket Bunch guards a water colored egg cut from the Basket Builder Framelits.  We watercolored the bunny with an H2O Brush lifting ink squished into the lid of our ink pad, and we tried our Blender Pen and Flirty Flamingo Ink for the egg, bunny ears and bowtie.  Our brand new Stitched Shapes Framelits provide a way to add interest and dimension--popped up with Dimensionals of course!  Then on to the inside where we stamped an Easter basket and message from Basket Bunch, this time with a cut out Chocolate Chip chocolate bunny stamped and cut out with a Basket Builder Framelit.  A coordinating piece of DSP from our stack provides the background for the Whisper White Card Stock Piece sporting our Happy Easter message from the Circle of Spring Stamp Set.  If all goes well then the last step is to use Tombo Glue to glue the card together!  Be careful!  Getting the right stuff on the right panel is the toughest part of this impressive card.

May All Your Chocolate Be Solid!
