May Flowers

It seems that gardens full of Spring blooms are all around us and who could resist the inspiration?  Not us for sure.  A succulent filled terrarium, a sun shiny little flower full of love, and a little birthday greeting for a gardener friend are just the projects to help our Second Thursday Stampers get in the Springtime mood.

A Mason Jar Garden

Our little terrarium lights up our Happy Birthday message from our Birthday Blossoms stamp set.  A little bit of cutting, pasting, and a Dimensional or two make this an easy to please card for anyone . . . with or without a green thumb!

Succulent Terrarium Card

This beautiful card on Whisper White is set off with a Real Red card base.  The Jar of Love Stamps with the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits make life easy when we are trying to make a card that will make our friends smile!  We popped a little So Succulent plant arrangement inside our Smoky Slate on Whisper White jar, and topped it off with a Real Red fussy cut bow.  Our Layering Circles Thinlets came to our rescue when we needed a background to show off our terrarium, and we went into the retired closet to find the pretty Brights Collection DSP.

Sending Love, Hugs, and a Blossom

We always say we need to keep things simple, and this card is an excellent example of how something so simple can be so stunning!  We love this card and to think we chose our Peekaboo Peach and Bermuda Bay color scheme from a simple little package of Tasty Treats DSP!

 Sunshine Sayings Card

We enlisted the help of our trusty Big Shot and Precision Plate to send a little Sunshine Wishes Framelit love in Gold Foil.  The flower from Sunshine Sayings, is stamped in Peekaboo Peach Ink over a splash of stamped off Peekaboo Peach from the same set.  Quick and easy!

A Gardener's Happy Birthday

The Gift From The Garden Stamp Set was patiently waiting for its time in the sun!  We finally pulled it out, and what better month than May.  There's a little gardener in all of us in Spring.  Our fancy fold choice for this month is easy and fun and showcases some retired designer paper.  (With a new stamp year coming it seemed like a good time to do some Spring cleaning.)

 A Gardener's Birthday Card

We started with an Island Indigo Card Stock base and trimmed off about 2 1/8 inches.  We're thrifty, so we saved that to put a little frame around our stamped Whisper White Card Stock featuring a pair of Calypso Coral garden gloves, a Marina Mist watering can, and an Island Indigo garden spade.  The inside of the card peeks out at the bottom with a Petite Petal in Calypso Coral, and a grouped greeting from Crazy About You.  A little Metallic Enamel Shape in silver adds a bit of bling, and some pretty Island Indigo Ribbon gives a nice finish to our pretty card sure to delight our gardening friends.

April--Better Late than Never!

April was a hectic month for all of our Second Thursday Stampers, and that included the leaders of the pack!  We couldn't let our beautiful creations sit in the file folder though, so here is a quick little peek at what we did last month!

First, a Pool Party, Peekaboo Peach, and Tasty Treat adventure. . .

A Tasty Treats Balloon Adventure Card

Next up, our very elegant Soft Suede and Always Artichoke vineyard . . .

 A Tuscan Vineyard Card

And finally, we tried out the Best Birds and Birds and Blooms to create some Watermelon Wondery Serene Scenery . . .

 Best Spring Bird Card

That's it for April.  Now on to the Merry Month of May for our Second Thursday Stampers!
