One Daisy, One Wood Plank, One Beautiful Card

Ok.  We admit it.  We had to get as close to this amazing creation as we could so we liberally cased it right straight from http://wildwestpaperarts.com/international-gratitude-plank-style/.  (Go there for instructions and a peek at a possible inside treatment.) No need to make too many changes.  This is a standout.  The layering and embossing makes an interesting card and it is much easier than it looks!

 Wood Plank Daisy Card

Deceptively simple for sure.  We stamped and punched a couple of daisies with our wonderful Daisy Delight and Daisy Punch Bundle.  A bit of sponging with Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive Inks does the trick.  Our message was stamped in Early Espresso and our Tombo Glue is holding our finished daisy in place.  A little bit of roughing up the edges with our Paper Snips added a nice rustic touch.  To tie things together and make this card amazing we used our new Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder to emboss the whole thing, then sponged over with Soft Suede Ink.  We added a little shine with some Clear Wink of Stella on the daisy center.  Our woodwork of art is mounted on a piece of Early Espresso Card Stock.  Thanks Rae Harper Burnett in Reno!  Glad you took the International Gratitude Plank Challenge.  We love it.

All papers, inks, and accessories used in this card are from ©Stampin’ Up!
