Happiness Is A Screen Card

We have been meaning to make a screen fold card for the longest time.  Finally!  It is worth the wait.  Our Crumb Cake screen sets off the Marina Mist and Whisper White layers.  Any mother would be pleased with the Delightful Dozen greeting stamped in Marina Mist and surrounded by happy leaves and flowers.  Our Choose Happiness Stampset has such a wonderful variety of images that we didn't have to dig very far to find just the right stamps for this card.

Happiness Screen Card
We picked a greeting from the retired Delightful Dozen Stamp Set but gave our stampers the choice to use a greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Anything goes with this versatile card.  We started by scoring an 11" x 5 1/2" piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", and 8 1/4".  Next we gussied up the top edge a bit with the Scallop Edge Punch which we also pulled from our retired drawer.  Couldn't help ourselves . . . we sure miss it!  The "legs" of the card were punched with our Decorative Label Punch.  We folded the first two panels together and punched, then repeated with the other two so we could get them as even as possible.  Then we stamped away with our Marina Mist and Crumb Cake Inks.  We put a little splash of Pear Pizzazz Ink on the leaves and shaded with Old Olive Ink to make our last panel stand out.  The fussy cut flower was finished off with a White Perfect Accent and we used a bit of 3/8" Marina Mist Striped Organdy for a special touch on the front panel.  This one's a keeper!

All papers, inks, and accessories used in this card are from ©Stampin’ Up!
