File Folder Fun

We love trying new folds and techniques and this file folder style card is no exception.  The card style is so versatile that almost any shape and size is possible (as long as it fits on the Envelope Punch Board).  Ours is a nifty birthday greeting, but the occasions to be celebrated with this card  are endless!  A tag on the front of this one let us experiment with the new Scallop Tag Topper Punch, but why not try a pocket for a gift card inside or out?  Go crazy!  For some help to get this going and other versions of this fun card try Patty Bennett's really great website complete with a tutorial video at pattystamps.typepad.com.

File Folder Tag & Banners Card

A little Gumball Green Card Stock and Ink along with a little trip to the tropics with Island Indigo Ink keeps us happy and feeling toasty in the throes of Wisconsin's polar vortex!   We used two different Water Color Wonder Designer Series Paper designs, one in and one out.  Punches saved the day for an easy mix of shapes including a brand new Scallop Tag Topper and Petite Petals, the Artisan Label, and the humble standby Word Window.  The old and the new stamp sets, Label Love, Petite Petals, Itty Bitty Banners, and Banner Greetings live harmoniously on our version of the file folder style card.  All papers, inks, and accessories used in this card are from Stampin’ Up! ©
