A Very Vintage Experience

Vintage meets a little grunge!  We pulled out our Postage Due Stamp Set, wiped the dust off, and got to the business of making this interesting collage style card.  We couldn't wait to get started and this beauty is the result!

Vintage Postage Due Card

The large background image from the Postage Due stamp set is the base for a card that is sure to be one of our favorites.  Our simple color combo of Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, and Midnight Muse work beautifully to give our creation an old fashioned look. We frayed the new Burlap Ribbon just a little, added some Linen Thread to tie up the Very Vintage Designer Button and it was an easy creation from there on in!  A strip of retired Designer Series Paper and a strip of Midnight Muse shows off the postage stamp images, and the message from Banner Greetings, becoming a famous favorite already, seemed like a perfect compliment!  The icing on this cake is a nice little sentiment stamped in Cherry Cobbler from the many choices on the Remember This and That Rotary Stamp.   All papers, inks, and accessories used in this card are from Stampin’ Up! ©
